Because it haunts me

It's all about gathering your courage to take that first step

Sniff. Cough.

This is really not a great time to get sick. Oh man.

On a happy note, look at the pretty flowers my MIL sent me:

yes, I’m late

I’ve been fighting with technical stuff for hours. I know I’ll get it all worked out, but I lost track of time tonight. This was a good day regardless of the tricky stuff. And that fact that it’ll be a late night.

Before I go back to work here’s a cool quote to share:

“You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, ‘I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.”–Eleanor Roosevelt

Simply because it is beautiful

Beautiful start to the day

I went to the company party tonight and I’ll tell you, we might bicker over little things, but who cannot unite and laugh over a bootie exerciser. It was one of them white elephant gifts. We got a good chuckle over it.

“I believe that if life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade… And try to find somebody whose life has given them vodka, and have a party.”–Ron White

I had so many great plans for today but then reality got in the way. I still have so much baking to do. On the upside, in forty five minutes a new day starts.

“Failure is the key to success; each mistake teaches us something.”–Morihei Ueshiba

I love going to concerts this time of year. And with this particular orchestra it is such a wonderful experience to hear musicians perform with such passion.

Started baking

No pics to share. Sorry. I only made the fudge today. It came out pretty good for a first time. It was for once a quiet day. Baking and watching some TV. BBC has a new series about zombies getting their memories back. Yes, there’s nothing like an undead storyline to play out and examine humanity. Heh.

Another late night

“Don’t confuse fame with success. Madonna is one; Helen Keller is the other.”–Erma Bombeck

It’s a quote night

I’m running late here. My bad. But this is a great quote to share:

“Develop success from failures. Discouragement and failure are two of the surest stepping stones to success.”–Dale Carnegie
